NC Trail Days 2020 COVID-19 Update:


It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancelation of the 2020 North Carolina Trail Days Festival on June 4th-7th. Though a difficult decision, we know this will help to better ensure the health and safety of all festival attendees, team leaders, vendors, and community members.


At this time, area trails are currently open, though we remind all to respect social distancing even while enjoying the outdoors. Though this is a setback in a difficult time, we are excited about planning for NC Trail Days 2021 and hope to see you next Spring in Elkin and Jonesville. 

Guidelines for Exhibitors

and Non-Profits


The NC Trail Days festival is a celebration of trails, outdoor human powered activities

and sports, the environment and our beautiful region.


Please consider joining us if you are:

An outdoor retailer or manufacturer

A non-profit hiking, cycling, climbing, paddling, mountain biking, trail running or similar club or group

A land conservancy

An environmental advocacy organization

A trails advocacy group

or a similar organization.


(We are not a craft festival and do not accept applications for crafts or other products that do not fit the theme.

Please consider the Yadkin Valley Pumpkin Festival in Elkin instead.)



  Cut off for applications will be April 30th, 2020. Please send in your application for approval early to ensure your space.

Your application will be reviewed and you will receive a follow-up email

confirming your participation and prompting you to pay the booth fee within 2-5 days. 


Booth Details and Fees:


10x10 booth space on Main Street Elkin in the heart of the festival:


Before January 31, 2020: $100 fee
Before March 1, 2019: $175 fee
$250 booth fee after March 1, 2019

Non-profit booths - No charge


Exhibitors who provide an approved clinic, workshop or educational event will receive a FREE booth space.



We try to make it easy to exhibit at NC Trail Days, but there are a few rules:


  • All exhibitors must provide their own displays, tents, tables and chairs. Sand bags should accompany all tents for stability in case of high winds. If an activity is provided all necessary equipment is the responsibility of the exhibitor.

  • All exhibitors must participate during the entire festival vending hours on Saturday 10am-4pm

  • No electricity will be available to exhibitors


Festival Exhibitor Date and Hours:


Saturday, June 6th, 2020 only


Set up time: 7:30-9am;

Festival Hours: 10am-4pm

Break down: 4-5pm


Set up must be complete by 9am on Saturday, June 6 and breakdown complete by 5pm (no break down until 4pm)


The festival will go on rain or shine…no refunds on booth space.
